In 2011, I had the privilege of volunteering for the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program during tax season at a local community college. It was an incredibly rewarding experience, as each person presented a unique tax situation that was akin to solving a complex puzzle, with their life stories unfolding in the background.
I earned my Enrolled Agent (EA) license in January 2015 after successfully passing all three parts of the exam on my first attempt. From 2012 to 2024, I gained invaluable experience working with a variety of firms, including retail tax chains, financial advisory services, wealth management, and CPA offices. This diverse exposure allowed me to handle a broad spectrum of tax issues for individuals, small businesses, trusts, estates, gift taxes, and international tax matters. I have worked with clients ranging from those with no tax liability to those making substantial charitable contributions, such as donating their IRA to the maximum allowable limit. As a tax professional, I understand that zero tax liability does not necessarily indicate financial hardship and can be a legitimate outcome of effective tax planning, opportunities, and strategic advice—not tax evasion.
One of the most fulfilling aspects of my career was successfully securing Innocent Spouse Relief for a client following a difficult divorce. It is moments like these, where I can make a tangible difference in someone’s life, that bring me the greatest satisfaction.
I now operate my own practice, a long-held dream that I finally realized. I am passionate about helping clients untangle complex tax issues and providing them with the knowledge and strategies they need to navigate the ever-evolving landscape of tax law. My goal is to continue learning and growing, while offering the highest level of service to those I assist
